The Aletheian Empire
in The Western Continent of ValatheThousands of years ago, the Champion of Sarenrae blazed his way through nations, carving out an alliance of peace across the western shores. Over the course of hundreds of years, he and his descendants subjugated the chaotic elves and bitter dwarves, took the panicked humans beneath their wing, and even tamed the foul drow of the Underdark (to some extent). Though their history is spattered with the blood of innocents lost in the dangers of war and marred by the chains of slavery, the Aletheian Empire of today is a relatively peaceful place that spans an incredibly large area and stands as one of the largest empires in the world. This is the tale of the Empire, told in fragments by each town, city and inhabitant.
