Gildón Dwarf

Gildón dwarves are those descended from the inhabitants of ancient Gildómar, carved from the Heartforge of Iskaldhal by the Dwarven creator-god himself. They may not necessarily live in Gildómar in the modern age; indeed, many of Sjarvaldir and even Fjolkandr consider themselves to be Gildón dwarves.
They typically hold a strong distrust of arcane magic, a great love for their beard that surpasses all others, and maintain strong traditions of mining and engineering. Gold is considered highly precious to Gildón dwarves.
Elves are considered ancestral rivals, but far greater is their hatred for orcs, giants, and goblins, who have hounded and slaughtered them for millennia.
