Dwarven is a harsh-sounding language spoken by the dwarves since their inception, as passed down to them by their progenitor deity, Torag of the Core Pantheon. It is uncommon to find it spoken by non-dwarves, as almost all dwarves are at least bilingual and regularly speak Common, especially outside of dwarf-dominant civilisations.
Dwarvish script is runic in nature, with a unique writing system that lends itself well to engravings.
