A Botanist will be the backbone of any raid, I tell ya! Who do you call when you are out and about in unknown lands? Someone that instinctively knows that land. Just you wait Ludwig, my Botanists will be the publics favourite, not your Beastiarians.

Career

Qualifications

To become a fully fledged Botanist, you must attend the Rox Academics school in Vaporio enrolled as a Botanist student for three years. There you will learn the basics of all aspects of an adventurer with immens focus on flora, minerals, ores and anything biome and Fog related. You will be the knowledge database of your team.

Career Progression

In the Academy, you will specialize in one of four branches: Florist, Minerologist, Ecologist, Biomancer. You will learn every branch in detail, but will have the opportunity to master one thing above all others.

Florist

Florists are specialists in everything that grows. Weeds, flowers, mushrooms, food, poisonously deadly thorn-bushes, that sort of thing.

Minerologist

Minerologists are masters in all things mining. Newfound ores, minerals, oil, alloys, divine crystals bestowed upon us by the heavens lost at the heart of a mountain, you get the idea.

Ecologist

As an Ecologist, you are the master of instinct. You will learn all about the Fog, the biomes in it, the chaotic extent of these surroundings and be able to detect deadly natural disasters that will kill your entire bloodline before anyone else. How fun!

Biomancer

The Creme de la creme of Botanists become Biomancers and will not only harvest, but also create. Biomancers are masters of all, and very rare to see. They know almost as much about another specialization than those masters, and that outside of Botany as well. They use every natural ressource available to them, study them and craft something new from them, be it potions, clothing, weaponry, gadgetry and more. Biomancers are the real masters of Botany.

Perception

Purpose

Once out of school, the Botanists either stay with their Soulventure when joining the Rox Venture group or create/join their own squad almost exclusively comprised of Botanists, taking on more research-based excursions into the wilds. Botanists that were able to become Biomancers are also sometimes seen joining Soulforges, supporting them with their unique insight and skill with creating nature-based items.

She has already published numerous scientific papers and measurably furthered progress of this world by doing so.
