Performer
Description
"Charming. Talented. Influential. The Performer is all this and more. Should you be lucky to find yourself in the presence of one, you'll sure to be in for a good time; be it from their beautiful music or their charming personality. Just be sure to not fall for their charm." -Class Description from The World of Idoria TTRPG
Background
The Performer, as the name suggests, is an individual who excels at the theatrical arts and has a charming personality. As for a Performer, talking is more important than fighting; and, oh, how they can talk.
Despite their silly behavior and fancy clothes, Performers are quite the casters. Their spells of choice aren't that of the Chronomancy or Astromancy of the Arcanists, or the Elemental mastery that the Etherials use. Nor is it like the Natural magics found in the possession of the Naturians, or the selfish trickery of the Oath-Sworns. No, the Performer finds all of those quite dull, as the attention is usually drawn to the spell and not on the caster, themselves. Performers must feel like they are always in the limelight and even their spells of choice reflect that! From appearing extra charming to never needing to part with their instrument(s), from being the brightest thing in the room to enthralling entire audiences with their acts; the Performer's spells truly reflect their personality as casters.
Although most Performers travel in groups for shows, some go off on their own life solo piece; be it so they can hog all the attention or they find that there's so much to write and sing about in the world that being held to the same few songs and dances can be tiring. Whatever their reasoning is, a lone Performer is often more obnoxiously self-centered than any one can find in a group.
Spells
Below are the typical spells that a Performer would know to captivate an audience:
