Qualifications
Many of the agents within the organization have them at least spend fire years at the Arcane Institute to learn the basics of the secret world we live in. Another method that's used to get entry is that they could start out as an apprentice to an existing member and receive a flowing recommendation from another higher up member within Vigilant.
Other Benefits
Depending on their position they have access to many private and secret knowledge regarding the truth of our world and beyond it. Researchers also receive massive funding for their projects so so long they show progress to the Arcane board, while Hunters can receive a massive payment if they manage to capture or slay high ranking criminals or threats to the world as a whole.
