Jackal

Jackal is said to be the embodiment of evil. He is the only one of his siblings to keep certain traits of his stroansian heritage out in the open, from his horns and ears to his eyes and wings. While he had plenty of siblings, Jackal's family life was ruined by his parents and their heartless training, and he only ever sought their love and affection. It was only after losing Evan, his elven soulmate, that Jackal changed.

Jackal: "Why? Why did you do it, Adoel?"

Archstroansian Adoel: "You have been marked as unlawful to your people."

Jackal: "But you killed him! My mate... my beautiful mate..."

Archstroansian Adoel: "Elves are unclean. They are not pure as they twist and mold the world to what they want. We are the purest beings. Understand now, brother?"

Mental

Personality

When Jackal was growing up, he had a kind and gentle soul. Anyone need help? Jackal would be there to help them, possibly even give them the shirt off his back for anything. His warm-hearted nature drew the attention of many, especially those seeking a mate. However, Jackal would always state that he would forever mate for his one true mate. Loyalty had no bounds for him. And no matter how atrocious one's crimes were, Jackal would find it in his soul to forgive them, even for the cold-blooded murder of hundreds of children.
Then, right after Evan's murder, Jackal changed. He grew bitter and cynical, willing to torture anyone for even the slightest bit of information about where his mate's soul was stashed. Vengeance weighed heavily upon his shoulders with only two things on his mind -- find his mate's soul and his child's egg before Adoel destroyed it.

Trauma

Jackal never knew the loving touch of a parent's love. Instead, he only had his younger siblings, Archstroansian Hayliel and Archstroansian Malik, whom he gave all his love and attention. If caught, he made sure to take his parents' anger and get beaten to a pulp while his siblings looked on in horror.
Upon Evan's death, Jackal's mental state deteriorated. He could barely focus on anything, and if it didn't have anything to do with hunting down Evan's soul, he despised the thought immediately. On top of that, Jackal was forced to take their unborn child's egg and task someone with hiding the egg in an undisclosed location and then wipe their memory of it to protect it. To this day, Jackal still doesn't know where his child's egg is or even if the egg has hatched.
