Plague / EpidemicAfter the creation of humankind in 3824 BR, Helstav expanded as the populace rose exponentially. As the population grew, so did the disease. In 3550 BR, there was an outbreak of a plague in the Stone Octant that would take eleven years to fully exterminate.

Defensive Runes are created
Technological achievementAfter Maui raised the Skybreaker mountains between Helstav and Hungola, Brian Blessed 17th ordered the raising of extensive wards around Helstav, in case of a future invasion or siege on Helstav. Runes were etched into the walls surrounding Helstav, and were then connected to the Calen family ring, owned by then head of the Oaken Tree Order, Tassarion Calen.

Political eventWhen the future Emperor Valtyv met in secrecy with Brian Blessed 34th and later Araleth Calen about his premonitions and the Tarrasque slumbering under Helstav's very centre, the two factions sign a secret agreement.

Emperor Valtyv starts his conquest
Era beginning/endHelstav becomes the first region to join the Valtyvian Empire, and the First Constitution of Helstav is rendered null and void. Emperor Valtyv exits Helstav through the Emperor's Pass (then known as the Desert Trail) and starts his conquest of Southern Aladathia.

The Valtyvian Empire falls
Era beginning/endThe armies of a united Ardatia defeat the armies of Valtyv, and the emperor himself falls to the five heroes known as the Primal Dawn. The Valtyvian Empire crumbles. Helstav once again becomes an independent region, and a legislative framework is once again needed to govern Helstav. The Second Constitution of Helstav is created and ratified.
