Wanderers of the Skybreakers

The Wanderers of the Skybreakers is a goliath nomadic tribe that lives in the Skybreaker mountains west of Helstav. They intermittently barter with the isolated Helstavite settlements in the Skybreakers.

Structure

The tribe consists of about sixty goliaths, lead by an ever-changing Chieftain, eight Captains whose role is to make sure the important tasks get done every day, a spiritual elder called the Skywatcher, five night guards called the Dawncallers, one law enforcer called the Adjudicator, and two Lamentors, whose job it is to determine whenever tribe members are too frail to be a productive member of the tribe, to then banish the member.

History

Some time after Maui raised the Skybreakers between Hungola and Helstav, the goliaths decided to make their home in the Skybreakers.

Mythology & Lore

According to their ways and traditions, the tribe worships the Maori deity Tūmatauenga: the god of war, hunting, food cultivation, and cooking.
