Local geography

Seyn Dehar lies to the north of Seynin Fant, positioned strategically between the ruins of Beranan to the east and Anar Frar to the west. The island is known for its production of dried fish, a vital industry that sustains the local economy and provides nourishment for the island's inhabitants. The town, located on the southern shore of a narrow isthmus, serves as a central hub for fishing and trade.   The coastal waters surrounding Seyn Dehar are abundant with marine life, where fishermen often catch a variety of fish, including the swift Dolki and the in-demand Teydeh, known for its tender flesh. The island's fishing fleets venture into these rich waters, taking advantage of the seasonal migrations of fish that populate the area. The presence of larger predatory fish, such as the Brossa and the formidable Krethgorr, poses a challenge for local fishermen, adding an element of risk to their daily endeavours.   The island features a hilly western end, where woodlands provide both resources and shelter for local wildlife. The eastern end is similarly wooded, creating a diverse habitat that supports various species, including seals that can be spotted lounging on the rocks along the shore. Seabirds, such as Gulls and the agile Stormhunter, thrive in this environment, often seen diving for fish or scavenging near the docks.   Seyn Dehar is also home to the renowned healer Shalla the Wise, whose presence has turned the town into a centre for those seeking remedies and cures. Her knowledge draws scholars and seekers of wisdom from across the islands, further enriching the town's cultural tapestry.
