Pelsa
Pelsa is a tiny town situated on a small island in a group of islets north of Seyn Truna, perched dramatically atop cliffs that overlook the surrounding waters. Known for its expert climbers, the town attracts adventurers who seek to test their skills on the challenging rock faces that define the island's rugged terrain. However, the town is currently under threat from a monstrous creature that has made its lair in the hidden caves below, reportedly a giant sea serpent that emerges during storms to wreak havoc.
The coastal waters surrounding Pelsa are rich in marine life, with fishermen often catching a variety of fish, including the swift Dolki and the flavourful Pargam.
Seabirds are prevalent along the cliffs, with Gulls scavenging near the shores and the agile Stormhunter adeptly hunting for fish in the turbulent waters. The majestic Ulmathren can also be spotted soaring above, a reminder of the island’s connection to the ocean and its rich biodiversity.
Despite the looming threat posed by the sea serpent, Pelsa remains a vibrant community, celebrated for its climbing prowess and the breathtaking views it offers. The stunning rock formations known as the Gates of Pelsa, comprising sea stacks and arches, add to the island's allure.
