Falseharbour

Falseharbour is a small, rocky island located off the northern coast of Daros.   Measuring about 20 miles long and 10 miles wide, the island is known for its dramatic cliffs and small, secluded beaches nestled within rocky bays. The island’s coastline is rugged, with steep cliffs overlooking the Sea of Zarroth making navigation difficult and earning it the name Falseharbour. Despite the challenging terrain, the island offers a striking landscape of natural beauty, with its lightly wooded slopes giving way to a rocky interior. Pine and Oak trees dominate the wooded areas, while hardy shrubs and Pryval bushes cling to the rocky outcrops further inland.   The island’s isolated bays are ideal for fishing, and small communities have been known to live here, subsisting off the sea’s bounty. However, due to its remote location and challenging access, Falseharbour remains sparsely inhabited. In spring, the island is awash with Bloodpetal vines, adding a splash of red against the stark grey rocks, while birds of prey, such eagles can often be seen soaring over the cliffs, hunting for small mammals along the shoreline.   Falseharbour's rugged and windswept terrain makes it an unforgiving yet beautiful place, attracting those seeking solitude and the untamed beauty of Daros's northern reaches.
