Glitterdeep Mines
Geography
The Glitterdeep Mines are a series of interconnected caves both natural and man-made located in Aebeald's Gap. The mines are located in the foothills at the most eastern point of the Ravenscrag Mountains within the Frostwood Forest that blankets the area. The closest town is the city of Myrkan which is roughly one day's ride northeast of the mines.
Fauna & Flora
The mine has no known natural fauna that live within the mine itself, but the mine has been abandoned for nearly 110 years, so it's unknown whether something has moved in during the interim period.
Natural Resources
The mine possesses several rich ore veins that run the gamut from iron to mithril. It even possesses some precious stone veins which gave rise to its name.
