Caford
History
Caford was a sizeable trading settlement on the border of Faladrion and the Free Lands. Despite having amiable relations with most inhabitants of the Free Lands, Caford was the first casualty of the Great Northern War when the massive army of Free Peoples descended on it with a fury. The true extent of the destruction wasn't known until near the end of the war as the Free Peoples' army was pushed back. What was revealed was a slaughter and destruction that troubled all who saw it.
Architecture
All that remains of Caford is a few crumbling stone foundations and rotted timbers.
Geography
The ruins are located on a plain between the Sea of Swords to the East and the Ravencrag Mountains to the South and West.
