Blinkglider
Blinkgliders are small, gliding rodents related to the sugarglider that the unique ability to "blink" through space, in what appears to be rapid teleportation. In fact, blinkgliders glide with exceptional speed and maneuverability through the ethereal plane- moving as far as 40 feet in any direction with every blink. This ability makes blinkgliders extremely good at acquiring food, eluding predators, and navigating boreal environments. Also distinguishing blinkgliders from their mundane cousins are their suitability for colder climates.
Blinkgliders originated in the cold boreal forests of Ibith, but have spread across the Southwestern continents with ease and now inhabit a wide variety of climates. Small imported clusters of escaped blinkgliders have invasive colonies in pockets of Maradia and Desmia as well.
Blinkgliders are sometimes thought to be divine messengers or in some way in tune with supernatural. This is likely due to their teleportation, association with Ghosts (as they are one of the few creatures to be able to interact with ethereal ghosts), and the existence of the giant sentient immortal blinkglider Bobito. In truth, blinkgliders are not particularly smart. Blinkgliders are the product of Halycon.

Dietary Needs and Habits
Blinkgliders eat insects as well as gum or sap, but are general omnivores willing to also eat eggs, berries, and lizards. They frequently drill small holes into trees to feed on insects and sap contained within.
