Origins and Role
The Mother of Us All, MOUA, was a celestial refugee who fled her universe after it succumbed to Voidaris, the Devourer. In her wanderings across the multiverse, she followed the trail of Vitaeon, the primordial force of creation and life, in search of a safe haven. Along with her celestial children—Isoko, Resh, Zun, and Huichi—she eventually encountered The Tinkerer, also known as "The Father," a newly awakened celestial creator who was in the process of shaping his universe.   MOUA brought with her a dire warning: wherever Vitaeon spread its life-essence, Voidaris inevitably followed, consuming all creation in its path. However, The Tinkerer refused to flee his burgeoning universe. Instead, he proposed a bold solution—to create a conduit that could draw in, absorb, and channel Vitaeon’s life-essence, maintaining a perpetual flow of vitality that would act as a shield against Voidaris. This conduit would serve not only to sustain life but also to push back the Devourer’s encroaching void.   As The Tinkerer and MOUA worked tirelessly on this plan, The Harbingers—agents of Voidaris—advanced on Alathor, threatening to disrupt their work before the conduit could be completed. Facing an impossible deadline, MOUA made the ultimate sacrifice. She offered her celestial body to serve as the material needed for the conduit, transforming herself into the very planet of Alathor. Her essence permeated its landscapes, making it a vessel capable of channeling Vitaeon’s life force.   To complete the system, her eyes were repurposed: one became the Sun, a radiant beacon that draws in Vitaeon’s essence and projects it onto Alathor, imbuing it with life. The other became the Moon, a gate through which the excess life force could return to the cosmic cycle, ensuring balance and preventing Alathor from becoming oversaturated with energy.   This profound act of love and self-sacrifice ensured that Alathor could thrive as a bastion of life, its existence an eternal resistance against the encroaching void of Voidaris.
