Vitaeon
Vitaeon, known as The Giver, is an incomprehensibly ancient and vast entity, transcending time, space, and reality itself. It is the primordial force from which life flows, a being so powerful and indifferent that even celestial forces like the Harbingers and the Stewards regard it as something beyond their own understanding. To most, Vitaeon is a myth, its existence barely remembered, save for the Stewards who know that it is Vitaeon’s essence that sustains life on Alathor. Through the Sun, Vitaeon provides the very life force that nurtures the world of Alathor and fuels the magic of its inhabitants before being channeled back out through the Moon Gate. Beyond that, it shows no interest in the fates of mortals, gods, or worlds.
Vitaeon is neither benevolent nor malevolent. It simply is. As a cosmic wanderer, it passes through universes, bringing with it the spark of life and creation. It leaves behind trails of light and energy, birthing stars, worlds, and the forces that animate them. Where Vitaeon travels, life follows, blooming in its wake. However, it does not linger—once the spark of creation is set in motion, Vitaeon continues on its endless journey, indifferent to the struggles, triumphs, or destruction that may occur in the worlds it touches.
Vitaeon is a God to the Gods, existing beyond the comprehension of any being within the universe, even celestial entities like the Stewards. It has no will to interfere, no desire to meddle with creation. It is the fountainhead of life and magic, but it cares nothing for the destinies of the worlds it ignites.
On Alathor, the influence of Vitaeon is most tangibly felt through the Sun, which serves as a conduit for its life-giving energy. This energy flows through the planet, sustaining life, magic, and the very essence of existence. The Stewards, who are tasked with protecting and nurturing this life, know that without Vitaeon, Alathor—and everything on it—would wither into nothingness. The Sun is not merely a star but a sacred channel through which Vitaeon's power flows, imbuing the world with a careful balance of Vitaeon’s essence that acts as a conduit and repellant to Voidaris, the Devourer.
