The Legacy of the Tinkerer and the Stewards

With the Mother’s body now the home and material source of all life, the Father’s body its sky and protective shield, and the Giver’s lifeforce funneling in and through it all, the Stewards—Isoko, Resh, Zun, and Huichi—descended upon the world and took up their divine duty to protect and nurture it. They were charged with maintaining the delicate balance of life on Alathor, nurturing its growth, and ensuring that the conduit of the Giver’s Life Force remained strong enough to keep the Devourer at bay.

For millennia, life on Alathor thrived under the watchful eyes of the Stewards. Seasons shifted with precision, life flourished, and the planet grew ever more radiant, pushing the Devourer further into the void. Yet, the seeds of corruption, planted by the Harbingers during their brief invasion, lay dormant within the heart of Alathor, waiting to manifest.
