Razorglass Material in Glass Immortals | World Anvil

Razorglass

Razorglass is the pink godglass whose sorcery enhances sharpness. It is used to edge knives, swords, and other cutting implements, allowing them to slice through just about anything, including steel. However, razorglass will break against the hardness of hammerglass. Good razorglass is very difficult to make, making it expensive and rare. Like other blades, it can get nicked, slightly dulling its effectiveness, but these can be repaired by a decent siliceer or armorer at a glassworks. It has many applications both by high-level craftsmen and the military.   STORY   The Glass Knife has adopted a razorglass-bladed dagger as their symbol, and members get a pink knife tattooed on their left hands.   The Cinders edge their halberds with razorglass.   Idrian Sepulki's sword has a razorglass blade, which he uses deftly by avoiding hammerglass armor with it when necessary. He uses his razorglass sword to behead The Hawk and cleave through the Flying Glassdancer, wounding it heavily. After a battle, Braileer Holdest states he can fix some of the nicks in the razorglass at the garrison glassworks.   Demir Grappo secretly leaves Thessa Foleer a small razorglass craftsman's knife for her to defend herself with in her escape from the Ivory Forest Glassworks. When she goes to the administration building to retrieve the phoenix channel schematics, she uses the razorglass to cut the lock and into Filur Magna's safe and desk.   Kissandra Vorcien has a military-grade razorglass knife in her boot that she uses to cut through the window lock at the Stavri family mansion.
