Mourning Joe's Wake Up Call

The finest Klava establishment in all the Darkwood, Mourning Joe's is the brainchild of Joy and Keldar Redtooth, half orcs previously enslaved in The Seven Lords. The cup-shaped establishment is easily identified by a sign carved with the image of a skeleton enjoying a cup of klava.

Purpose / Function

To invent, market, sell, and serve all kinds of coffee based products.

Architecture

Mourning Joe's is two buildings. The cafe is stylized as a porcelain teacup (of course, it's actually wood). The other building is called The Coffee Lab, and it's a big rectangular building split into dozens of research rooms and the living quarters for the Redtooth siblings.

History

After being released on a technicality, the siblings fled to Dragonscale with fifty pounds of stolen coffee beans and brought the Greenlands delicacy to the arts district of The City of Dragonslayers. Since then the pair have established a staggering menu and have been pioneers in what they call 'java science'.
