Kytheria
A golden ovoid tug plummeted through the cerul skies, tugging behind it a half-kilometer barge with all the markings of Jupiter Syndicate colonization.
“Seen from orbit, Kytheria is a glittering marble of emerald and sapphire watched over by its three moons: Aglaia, Thalia, and Euphrosyne, which are topaz, jasper, and ruby in color respectfully. They reflect the sun at all hours, keeping Kytheria in the perpetual light and spring”
Kytheria was founded by the Jupiter Syndicate with collaboration with the Valuselu Pact. It is largely a dungeon world, in that a lot of the structures exist underground and were prefabricated by an army of robots. Many of these structures sit in disuse, or have become homes to their own tribes and colonies.
Kytheria is a special planet in that it is particularly rich. It was settled long before Melancholic Lacuna, and was almost as built up as the HubWorlds. When it was cut off from the rest it evidently trundled along for a good while war and land shortages caused a global collapse. The exact details of how everyone died off are still unknown, and of great concern to the colonies. Nobody has been able to extensively explore the dangerous depths and ruins.

Celestial Cycles
Kytheria has three moons: Algaia, Thalia, and Euphrosene. It also has a sun, Apollo.
- Kytheria has a rotation cycle of 72 hours, which is its Apollonian Day
- Aglaia, the jasper moon, has a cycle of 24 hours
- Thalia, the topaz moon, has a cycle of 36 hours
- Euphrosyne, the ruby moon, has a cycle of 45 hours
The planets align into a solar eclipse every 360 hours, in that time:
- Apollo has 5 days
- Aglaia has 15 days
- Thalia has 12 days
- Euphrosyne has 8 days

Bestiary
Many of the trees on Kytheria are massive flowering trees. One of the more rampant species is the Lōtos Trees, which are particularly concentrated in the Lōtos Karstway Basin.
Though the ecology was dense with all manner of bromeliads and ferns, it was the massive-flowered trees which drew the eye. They formed a canopy of flower-fronds with broad, pink petals as firm as agave but velvety and covered in a thick, velvety membrane which scattered light off and through itself in such a way that it cast a soft, dreamy glow onto the forest floor below. This dreamlike quality was reinforced by a thin and constant mist emanating from the bottom of the flower-fronds. So far as Psovod could judge, despite the area being fairly arid this basin was a cloud forest and these trees were the keystone to the ecosystem.
"They look like lotus flowers," Rohssa said, holding out a hand to catch a trickle of water dripping from the frond of a tree. "Maybe that's why this area was marked as the Lōtos Karstway Basin. Lōtos probably means 'lotus', I'd bet."
Kytheria also boasts a robust ecosystem of Synthisaurs.
“If you look out of your west-facing windows you may spot some of the local fauna. The Kytherian seas are home to many kinds of ichthyosaur.”
The hum of tug’s port-side Meissner Engine revved up as Dravec bounded from starboard to port and turned his massive head to look out a window. “I see it, Psovod, come look!”
There were about a hundred meters above the water now. Some sort of ichthyosaur broke the crest of a wave, snapping at low-flying dimorphodons who had stolen their fish and were now juggling it.
