Korgin Yamamato is a GearHeart armorsmith, the second of three heirs of the Yamamoto Defense Industries corporation. He served the company as Chief Engineer, working in the labs and workshops to make Yamamoto Armor the best in the business. Under his father's guidance and fostering, he and his siblings planned to run the company as an oligarch someday.
This plan hit two major roadblocks. His brother's death hit him hard, bringing him further from his father but closer to his sister. The second major change came from his brother coming back in the form of mysterious letters. Those letters have brought him on an unplanned expedition into ValuSelu Pact space.
Korgin is the strongest mind of my children, capable of engineering solutions to any request we may receive.
His ambition is rivaled only by his sisters, but his ambition tends to lead to recklessness.
The Silver Spoon
Korgin, just like his siblings, were genetically curated through in vitro methods. All are biological children of Jun Tran and Joll Yamamoto. Even from birth, technology always backed Korgin into a life made easy. Robotic care takers replaced most interactions with his parents, even into his childhood and early teen years his interactions with family almost always had some element of work associated with it.
If there was a family dinner, I can almost garuntee that work's on the docket. Father has such little time that every bit of bonding time was pretty much a one on one meeting.
A bit depressing, but hey it's what I had!
During his formative years, he began to explore life on his own terms, working on his own projects with his brother Kelvin Yamamoto and going out to celebrations and fesitivities with his friends Zaffir and Fykknou Vvich. The odd trio got into a chain of shenangians in the streets of the Yamamoto Industries homeworld, to the point that Yamamoto received scandalous headlines about Korgin's 'Wild Party Streak.'
Yet even through the scandals, Korgin continued to innovate the family line of armors, helping to engineer the Oni Storm Armor
