Anuinzheulmin's Aspirants
An cabal of Anuinzheulmin's protectors living among the unwitting Tel Yak'koli. It is said that they know where Anuinzheulmin's Necropolis is—or at least know where the location's secret is kept.
The Aspirants have a fearsome reputation amid the Yak'koli as a secret society of merchants and assassins who have been meddling in the affairs of Yak'koli since its creation.
In truth, in the millenia since the dissappearance Anuinzheulmin's Necropolis, the Aspirants have long since been replaced by followers more akin to lore enthusiasts and fanboys, all of whom run an underground smuggling ring to recover missing Verin artifacts to preserve, study, and appreciate them. This is treated as heretical by Yak'koli, and any crack downs result in the pieces being confiscated by the Yak'koli Museum
Home Base: The Aspirants maintain a secret museum of heretical writings and artifacts in the catacombs beneath Yak'kolithon, and are one fo the routes through which the players can discover the ruins beneath the outer lake to the south of the ventricle.
If you manage to encounter the Aspirants, you'll find them to be more of a fanclub than a Cult. Though some show restraint or concern, most are eager to share what they know with you, and when you express interest in wanting to go down to the Necropolis, the brave among them offer to help.
