DOMAINS: Battle, Revenge and Tracking
SYMBOL: Bronze Halberd
Bonds: Tempus, Kord, Goddess Romane,

Nuwan is an ancient Goliath Goddess of Battle, Revenge and Tracking - also known as The Pillar.

Strongly linked to Tempus (God of War) - brought together by the young God Kord (courage & sportsmanship) - yet also with the youthful Goddess Romane (Friendship).

Nuwan, also referred to as Nuka in ancient lore, is rumoured to have lived in the western part of the desert of Jingré Region of Malnax.

In her matriarchal reign, Nuwan got revenge on her older brother Farill for his "taking' of her body without her consent, when in the Fulora Isle. Then she travelled far away to Malnax and settled with her growing tribe in the Jingré Region. Nuwan had to battle against a neighbouring tribal chief Talloc, defeating him, and took him to the peak of a mountain.

Defeated by a woman, the chief felt ashamed to be still alive and killed himself with bamboo. As a revenge, the bamboo split and grew from Talloc's blood. The bamboo grew so tall and strong, it tore holes in the sky and made a flood which hit the whole world. The flood killed all people, except Nuwan and her army which was protected by her divinity. After that, Nuwan patched the sky with coloured-stones until the flood receded.

Assets

Nuwan's longbow is a powerful weapon made of a red dogwood tree. Her quiver was enchanted to replenish once a day (holds 20 arrows contains 40) - if arrows put in it reproduces the same type and number. Arrows were dipped in red clay and dried to give colouring.

Hidden in Talon Bay in an ancient Stronghold built by Dwarves.

History

Long ago, when the world first began, there were two people, Nuwan (born as Nuka) and her older brother Farill. They lived on Mount Kilan in the Fulora Isle.
They talked about becoming husband and wife, however in the end Nuwan refused. So Farill took his sister up to the top of Mount Kilan, and made this prayer:
"Oh Heaven, if Thou wouldst send us two forth so we can be as man and wife."
At this, the misty vapor immediately gathered. Then Farill forced his sister to become intimate with him. He plaited some grass to make a fan to screen their faces.
Nuwan was so shamed and angry she seeked revenge on her brother - asking for Taiia ’s Avatar (an ancient Titan) to aid her.
Nuwan practiced for long days until her fingers were red and raw until she learnt to become highly skilled at shooting with a longbow made from a red wood of a dogwood tree. She set out hunting for her brother.
As she found other people, and formed an army to battle Farill who had collected beasts to protect him. The Red Tipped Arrow is the symbol of what happened long ago.
