Goddess Romane

Goddess Romane is a minor goddess, who is growing in popularity. She personifying loyalty, respect, integrity, harmony, affection and friendship. She is one of the Modern Deities.

Romane is said to often appear as a teenage Human with a body empairment - usually is unable to walk, relying of friends to help let her be herself and help her when she asked.

Romane is usually paired as friends with Ateh, the daughter of The Platinum Dragon Lendys. Ateh was of legends. As the daughter of The Platinum Dragon, she is honourable and powerful. She is a depicted as light blue and light – a frost and lighting Dragon. She protects the children and those weak and bullied. She defends against those of the frightful Giants. Ateh is the one, to become the protector of those Humanoids who need her, after her father The Platinum Dragon vanished, so long ago.


CELESTIA

On the first layer of Celestia, Lunia, is a small regal hamlet of Amicis - 'holiday homes' - where Goddess Romane and Cyrrollalee collect many friends of the Durma Pantheon - the Modern Deities : Eldath, Mielikki, Sarula Iliene, Ronin Mikoto, Sune, Kord, Baervan Wildwanderer, and Ateh.



Worship


"I promise I will celebrate myself and continue on my path, while celebrating you as you are, as you continue on your own path. I will seek goodness and light in every direction, strengthened evermore by the goodness and light coming from you."


Friendship Ceremony

In a meaningful place to the friends, make the infinity symbol with gemstones where the friends will stand (each in one circle) during the ceremony.
There is not an official/celebrant for the ceremony. The two friends share the duties and preparation. Theyb will have practiced speaking in unison.
A ceremonial fire is lit outside the circle. It is used for the offerings from guests of sweet smelling herbs and spices.
To mark each direction of the elements of the six planes the infinity symbol is drawn into the ground ... The Plane of Air, The Plane of Fire, The Plane of Water, The Plane of Earth, and The Plane of Void, and The Plane of Wood.
+ decorate the eastern point with elements of air, such as incense, feathers, windchimes - the southern point with fire, such as candles, lanterns, or a small ceremonial fire - the western point with water, such as a cup or chalice of water, holy water, seaweed, starfish or seashells - the northern point with earth, such as stones, clay sculpture or pottery, flowers - hot coals and soot from the external fire are used to burn off the grass in the central void of the connecting point of the infinity symbol - sticks and twigs to represent wood is lain the compass points crossing through the burnt circle.
Guests may gather around the infinity symbol however remain seated or standing outside the symbol during the whole ceremony. Only the two friends enter the circles of the infinity.
When everyone has arrived, the friends greets the guests and calls upon the Goddess Romane together, along with spirits of each of their beloved dead and ancestors to join the cerebration. If there are other deities of specific importance to the two friends, these are named.

The two friends speak in unison, "Welcome, beloved friends and family. We have joined here today beneath this open sky to celebrate and bless this friendship between these two minds and souls."
"As we begin, let us call first upon the Goddess Romane, and upon our ancestors. To the spirits of those who came before us and who gave us life, and those too who were once of this world and our family, our beloved dead. We ask that all those who wish to be here, join us in harmony and friendship."
Guests are encouraged to hold hands with one another, to honour the energy of the occasion and to strengthen the circle.
The two friends face east = "To the East! I call upon the spirits of the East, the spirits of air, whose energy brings communication and clear connections between heart, mind, and body. Bless us with the promise of growth and fresh beginnings."
The two friends facing south = "To the South! I ask the spirits of the South, of fire, to bring the warmth of home and heat of passion, and a promise of light in darkness. Bless this union." The two friends facing west = "To the West! I call upon the West, spirits of water, that love be deep, forgiving, exciting, and passionate. We ask for the blessing and promise of healing, flexibility, and change." The two friends facing north = "To the North! I ask the spirits of the North, the spirits of earth, to bring blessings of steadiness and stability, and the promise of a true home." The Two friends look to the space between them = "To the centre and the core! I ask the spirits of the Wood and the Unspoken Element, to stabilise and strengthen the core of our friendship. To reach into the hard times and those days we think not of each other, and bring no end to our friendship."

"Help us to grow in a friendship as boundless as the sky, as steadfast as the mountain, as bountiful as the field, as passionate as the sea, deep as darkness, as sturdy as a tree, and as assuring as the light. All spirits, all of the earth, and all of us here, bless this friendship with company and hope in their darkest days, and laughter and joy in their brightest.

"We thank Goddess Romane, our ancestors, each of our guests for joining us here today. We give our love and thanks to the East, to the South, to the West, to the North, to the centre and to the core. Thank you for attending this day and our friendship, and we wish you all the blessings."

Foods

As music is played by other friends, the celebration continues with feasting of twin dishes - pears, sweet potato dishes, plums, grapes, honey, and wine.
Followed by a dessert bar, cupcakes and mini pastries.

Wear something comfortable and flowy that you can move around in easily. Bright colours are encouraged, as they are thought to bring positive energy to the occasion.
