Mielikki

Mielikki, also referred to as the Forest Queen, is the neutral good goddess of autumn, druids, dryads, forests, forest creatures, and rangers. She is one of the Modern Deities.

Her symbol is a gold-horned, blue-eyed unicorn's head facing left.

Mielikki very rarely directly reveals herself to her followers. She is considered to be sometimes shy and soft spoken. Her blue eyes are unmistakable in either Half-Elf or unicorn form.

Appearance

She appears either as the Half-Elf has mousey-brown or blonde hair. She carries a longbow and strides purposely within the forests. Otherwise as a Wood Genasi female.

CELEBRATIONS

The Great Planting = followers each planted 3 trees (tri strength growth) on the third day of the third month (Gla).

Four Feasts = Mielikkians also held the equinoxes and solstices as holy days The Song of The Trees = Once a month, clerics and druids were required to perform the Song of Trees, calling forth a Dryad or Treant and performing odd jobs for it for a day.

Daughter of The Wild Mother

Eldath and Mielikki were considered to be daughters of Melora, The Wild Mother.
Eldath and Mielikki were known to hunt people who caused fires in the Sun Woods, The Supreme Woods and the Scarlett Forest - as well as the Echo Woods.

Her foster grandmother is Nokomis.

FOLLOWERS

The clergy of Mielikki included clerics, druids = Forestarms and rangers = Needles.
Generally, druids of Mielikki took on the abilities of rangers, including the ability to wear all kinds of armour usable by rangers, including metal armour (unlike other druids who were not allowed to wear metal armour).

Order of the Unicorn's Horn:
The Order of the Unicorn's Horn was a small society of nomadic healers who brought solace to injured people, animals, and plants.

Shadoweirs: The Shadoweirs served as a type of religious knighthood of the woods. Members were activists who converted with great zeal, and were willing to go on the offensive on behalf of their sacred forests. They sought to advance the regrowth of ancient forests reduced by civilization, and to halt the endless assault of civilization on their ancient homeland.
