Sixth Resistance, First Class

Jenni gave her approximation of a proud smile and picked up the knife. "Welcome to First Class."
Structure
First Class denotes the very core of the Sixth Resistance movement, as those elite individuals that Jenni recruited to form her innermost circle. Over time, First Class is rather cult-like in their devotion.
Leader: Jenni Myin, often the movement's public face and the one controlling much of the initiates' activities (whether they know it or not.)
The Big Three
Jenni's senior initiates hold the highest status and tend to operate primarily with each other in mind. They also form the chain of succession in case of emergency.
1. Aris Portokalos- Jenni's second in command, head of the Scientific Reconfiguration Division. Often operates as a strategist.
2. Nerissa Vannarjee-Third on the chain of succession, Nerissa trains new recruits and acts as liason between First Class and wider Sixth Persistence forces.
3. Ione Powell Nazir- Fourth in the chain of succession, Ione handles psychological assessment of new recruits and gathers intel. She is also the Scientific Reconfiguration Division's first success.
Other Members
First Class was initially made up of eighteen recruits. A combination of testings/purges, battles, escapes, and scientific experiments reduced the organization to a ninth of its former size.
First Class Beta
Instituted by Jenni to boost recruitment. Members of the Beta grouping are temporarily useful for operations, but never intended to stay beyond their 'use'. Tend to be disliked by the older members with more prestige. Most significant members are:
- Mara Petros- Jenni's informant within the Constellan government, who also keeps tabs on major fighters such as her once-friend Liz Desslin.
- Jade Janil-Weapons developer and expert

- Katri Newsome- Never formally inducted into First Class herself, she has limited awareness of activities within the organization by virtue of her apprenticeship to Aris.
History
- 1990s-Induction of most significant members, formal founding.
- Early 2000s- Cycle of recruitment and purging, preliminary experimentation begins. First Class and the rest of the Resistance put down roots at their headquarters in Barinack.
- Late 2000s- Jenni shows her true colors and begins breaking her most devoted initiates. With the establishment of a formal division for magical experimentation, the creation of short-term living offensive weapons gets underway.
- Early and mid 2010s-Formal conquering of Constellan territory begins, along with infiltration of the more moderate government. Successful attacks on international soil prompt international military action against the Resistance, as well as the establishment of humanitarian aid networks for refugees inside Constella. Meanwhile, First Class has whittled down so far that secondary members are recruited.
- Late 2010s- Continued conflict wears down much of the resources and support base within the Resistance. Even the most loyal of First Class begin to debate cutting ties. Sixth Resistance is defeated militarily, and First Class is imprisoned. With the outbreak of the virus, First Class turns on the leader who had abandoned them.
Disbandment
With the war between the Sixth Resistance rebels and the international forces the opposing Constellans had allied with coming to an end, Jenni disappeared into hiding. Her former core of loyal followers were left to fend for themselves and imprisoned.
Shortly before trials were set to begin, the epidemic broke out. Suspecting Jenni's involvement and with their lives on the line, Aris renounced her ties to Jenni and the Resistance. Her other two highest-ranking comrades followed suit, and First Class was no more.
