The Romatian Royal Family: The von Delmonts
Since its founding, the Kingdom of Romatia has had two dynastic monarchies. The first, the Knavesmires, ruled from the mid-1300s when the country was first established until the early 1500s when their line died out. Appointed in their place were the von Delmonts. The first in the line, Cyneric von Delmont took control in the 1520s. Today, the von Delmonts are still in power and have a considerable amount of influence. Rumors are beginning to swirl that with the onset of the apocalypse, the monarchy is crumbling from the inside out. A small but vocal and increasingly violent faction of the population is ready for revolution to overthrow them.
