The United Providences of Endevesten
Structure
The United Provinces runs under a unitary federal government that is representative based on the noble lordships of the five member-states that formed the Provinces, The Kingdom of Snaken, The Duchy of Kirschdorf , The Earldom of Trisen Kahuaabek Reservat , and City-State of Nyughati .
Representatives from each member-state in the UPE meet at the Rijksbedehuis, the federal "meeting house" that is located in the Neutral City of Etzen. Each member-state has representatives from their noble houses, the number of which vary based on relative population.
Culture
The UPE is at the height of arcane technology and standard of living across Kokintras. The only rivals the nation faces in terms of their living standards are Dulkunbu and Empire of Krober, who also mine and refine Arcanite crystals for use in such technologies, and have also benefited from the tech and wealth that the industry brings. With improved technology and standards of living that mean even the poorest in Endevesten live in a moderate comfort compared to the lower classes of Loricanium, the Endevesteners have discovered the ability for all races to cohabilitate somewhat comfortably. The Butterchurn of the world rests in the end of the western lands, and mixes all the races together as equals.

Halflings get a rap about thievery of trinkets, Orcs, Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Goliaths are all viewed as the "little brother" races that the Humans, Dwarves, Elves and otherwise are meant to tolerate and civilize. Generally there is some disparity in living areas for these races, grouped together for their own protection as much as the other races being scandalized at the idea of a Goliath or Goblinoid next door.

Public Agenda
The mandate of the United Providences were to give a home to all races to develop arcane techniques and the unique "Arcanatech" in peace without concern. To the south lay the Traditionalist and conservative Lorica which views the advances of these arts as a heresy to their powerbase. To the east is the Theocracy that feels the same.
Demography and Population
The population is mostly gnome (58%), with smaller numbers of halflings (4%), elves (25%), dwarves (13%), humans (8%), half-elves (1%) and half-orcs (1%). Other races are less frequent, making up less than 1% of the total population of the country altogether.

Technological Level
The country has experienced a boom of technological and scientific innovation, all of which is tied to arcane magics that cause them to work. There are cars, buses and trains, as well as surveillance and AyCees (Arcane Crystals) that are functionally smartphones, as well as banking and a fiat currency that is held to a premium value across the continent.
Religion
The official state religion of the UPE is known as the Conflux. It takes its name from the archaic concept of all the gods representing a different color of energy, or arcane magic, and that they are anthropomorphic avatars of this colored energy. The conflux is a well of great energy, usually identified as Laetien, The Father of Creation, where all of the colors mingle together and are strengthened through bonds of creation. As such the religion itself is really more of an umbrella for all worship of the five Chromati, with more emphasis on how they work together or compliment each other instead of how they are opposed.
There are however some elements, as there are in most regions, of zealots who are opposed to the Conflux mythos. Specific splinter groups of various sects have long railed against the "blasphemy" of the Conflux, and a number of terrorist actions have taken place in protest. The "Mana-Well" monument in Achen was destroyed by a small group of Adonian zealots, who saw the Conflux as an affront to order because of the inclinations of the Gods other than Adon. There have been kidnappings and torture attributed to a particularly Xenophobic Wood Elf supremacist group that follow Anakim, The Colossus.
Foreign Relations
The United Providences are relatively new to the world stage as a unified entity, having merged the city-state, duchy, earldom, kingdom and reservation a scant 100 years previously.
Agriculture & Industry
An agrarian revolution has occurred in the UPE on the island of Inselgrune, with studies in husbandry and botany leading to hardier, healthier fruits and vegetables, and meats from livestock as opposed to being reliant on game animals. Markets have swelled with this ample supply of meats and other foodstuffs, leading to push in exports to other regions whom have not benefited similarly. The Earldom of Trisen has started allocating vast tracks of land in Alb, to increase the amount of farms for both domesticated crops and livestock in order to help feed the other states of Kokintras.
In industry, as with most places, mining and forging play a heavy role in life, but the UPE has entered into a phase of industrial revolution, with machined parts and tools making it easier and cheaper to produce finished goods, not just supply and use raw materials. As such appliances are beginning to become commonplace, it's almost easier and cheaper to purchase a scythe or hammer than it is to cobble one together, and as a whole the UPE is moving to a commericalized economic system over bartering, already choosing to embrace a fiet currency of cheaply made crystal coins as opposed to the rare metals that could be used elsewhere.

Legislative Body
In the United Providences, there is a federal parlimentary system consisting of two houses. One is the house of Lords, of which the two most senior lords of the districts that are not on the federal council meet and discuss laws proposed by the federal council. The parliment also approves the expenditures of the Federal Council's policies.
