Inselgrune

Inselgrune is an island that is under the territorial control and protection of The United Providences of Kirschdorf-Snaken but is not entirely inhabited or controlled by the Providences. The southeastern majority of the island mass is held by the UPKS, however the northwestern areas are controlled by the Goliath Tribes, calling themselves the Kanaka'opio. Geography

Inselgrune is a unique island off the main coast of Kokintras, holding high peaks across a low channel called "The Devil's Scar" that transition into a large swath of temperate rain forest stretching across most of the center of the island, dotted by areas of wetlands. There's a series of Taigatic peaks on the southeastern coast that are separated from what is suspected to be the same range of mountains in the area of Snaken, only divided by the Devil's Scar, which has led to intense debate about how Inselgrune came to be an island instead of a natural peninsula as it looks like natural geology intended.

Natural Resources

A lot of vegetation grows on the island, giving it it's colloquial name, "The Green Island".
Major resources include coffee, tobacco, sugar, citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, kiwis, and pineapples, hardy beech wood and other timbers, as well as raw ore from the southern mountains, including a rare source of Tin and Mithril.
