Emaxus is technically a godless world. With the Reckoning, the Pantheon has been reduced to a host of god-spirits resting in across the multiverse, giving only a trickle of divine favor to their followers in the Material Plane. But, there are others in the multiverse who would seek to shape the history of Emaxus.
Whether of a righteous intent or a malicious bent, listed below are a handful of these entities, various demigods, divine creations, elder evils, and more that influence mortals, intentionally and otherwise. Note that there are many other creatures of this category than those below, but those listed here are those that are known or relevant.
The Aasveigan Pantheon
The Maor of Aasveig worship their own sect of gods, apart from the Pantheon of Emaxus, though these demigod-figures are all children of Isael.
The Demon Lords, Children of Chaos
Lords of vast swaths of Mathrak and commanders of endless legions, the Demon Lords are the Children of Marzak and rulers of the demonic hordes of Mathrak.
The Devils Ultimate
Standing at the pinnacle of the impossibly complex hierarchies of Iduran, the Hellish Realms, the Devils Ultimate is the name given to the archdevils that control Hell and its endless armies.
Elder Evils
A small snippet of the endless alien entities that exist out in Xeccamund, each of whom could---and have---posed threats to Yophas' inhabitants.
Empyrean, the Broken
Empyrean is a broken, demented Solar imprisoned deep beneath Emaxus who strives to influence and corrupt Yamma's followers to get revenge against the god who imprisoned him.
Envalanath, Mother of Blood
Forgotten by all but the most ancient vampires and the most devoted cults, Envalanath is the original vampire, and the most powerful---and mysterious---by far.
Heliestheos, the Reshaper
Heliestheos was the original dragon; impossibly powerful and capable of collapsing and combining realities, Heliestheos has been imprisoned since the Reshaping.
Krathum the Defiler
The greatest lich in Emaxian history, Krathum the Defiler nearly attained godhood before falling in the Fragmented War; now, his followers work to return him and prepare his ascension.
