Heliestheos, the Dragon of Space and Time

Heliestheos was the original dragon; impossibly powerful and capable of collapsing and combining realities, Heliestheos is the Dragon of Space and Time and has been imprisoned since the Reshaping. Because she was imprisoned before mortals were repopulated, she has been unknown to all but the Greatwyrms and their kin since the dawn of Yophas. She rests in the shackles of her ancient planet, where she floats out in the dark of Xeccamund and waits.
She planned her release for millennia. Now, at the turn of the tenth century of the Age of Extant, her most devoted followers---her Stars, powerful entities endowed with a portion of her power---work to bring her and her prison back to Yophas and free her. Heliestheos wields spacetime itself, and seeks to consume all reality within herself to wipe Yophas away, as Yamma tried to wipe her away.

Appearance and Titles

Heliestheos is a city-dwarfing dragon of black scales and crackling purple energy. Her eyes crackle with the black and blue of space itself, while her wings seem to shift in and out of time. She can manifest any type of energy with her breath, and teleport freely.
Heliestheos is known by two names: the Dragon of Space and Time, and the Reshaper.

The Greatwyrm Before the Greatwyrms

Heliestheos survived the Obsidian War and hurtled through space on desolated plant, alongside the last clutches of dragon eggs. She was imprisoned by Yamma, who took the eggs to bring back the dragons. Why he imprisoned her---and why she refused to give up the eggs---is a mystery known only to Heliestheos and Yamma. But, because of her age and power, Heliestheos is essentially a greatwyrm above greatwyrms; she is outside of the greatwyrm system, and yet older and more powerful than all of them.
