The Platinum Order

"While I was working in Atria I believed that the people found comfort and also a drive from their faith. They wished to see things changed, for the betterment of all the people in the country, not just for the Dragonkin or the people who have always supported them. They find themselves at impasses with decisions and instead of choising that option that improves thing for themselves, they chose the thing that improves the lives of as many people as possible."
  • Quote from the Kai-Tengian Embassador to Atria
  • While the faith of Bahamut has been around for time immemorial. It has many followers of many different ilks, beginnings and endings. Many of the followers are people who felt that the world around them was unfair or injust. These people may have been suggested toward this faith by fellow followers of Bahamut who noted their need for Fairness in the world. Many of the Followers of Bahamut are strong willed individuals with a powerful self regulated moral code who often bring this to the table when dealing with other people who may find themselves lacking in that moral fiber.
These people are often the ones you find attempting to reform laws and fuel change in areas that they feel are unjust or lack the ability to help all in need. While the people of this faith are considered strong of mind and will, they often have mindsets that allow them to bend to the needs of others. Some laws are required to simply keep the peace and as such the faithful can believe that these laws require changing, but often they are more forgiving of smaller, less notible changes in those laws.

    Structure

The Structure of the Bahamutian faith is one of many contentions as it is well known that Bahamut doesnt believe in churches or preaching. However the people of Atria believed that having some standing monuments to his faith and his belief would only cause greatness to form in Atria. Which it did, the preaching was rarely actual people. It usually was a single stone slab with an inscribing of a phrase or a quote from Bahamut or his followers directly to inspire the people in need of direction.

    Culture

    Public Agenda

The Bahamutian faith has a very public agenda, That being to bring Justice and fairness to all reaches of the world. They believe that all people deserve the right to live a happy and properous life with their needs meet at any level.

    Demography and Population

The Bahamutian faith is mainly followed by the Dragonkin of the Atrian Triumvirate. But some people outside of the Triumvirate follow the Platinum Dragon. Most notibly, the Kai-Tengian, Durradin and some of the Banumdum regions follow him due to his dogma.   Many of the populations of the cities of Atria see the benifits of following the faith as they have seen many improvements in their living standards due to the countries laws and understanding toward many of differing faiths.

    Territories

    Foreign Relations

Bahamutians, Palourians and Lathienians all have favourable relations. Some other dieties are not the friendliest with the Platinum Dragons faithful, but rarely do you find a faith that hates them aside from the followers of the Evil dieties, such as Tiamut who is his greatest Rival and Enemy.   Bahamutian faithful tend to prefer fair dealings with all involved, were everyone might not get everything they want but they get something out of the deal at the end.

    Tenets of Faith

The Tenents of Bahamutian Faith are simple:
    • Treat everyone with the fairness you'd expect in return.
    • Be Merciful in your judgements, but wise in your punishment.
    • Grant those who search for Law and Justice the means to do so
The people who follow these tenents are considered Paragons of the faith and often held in higher regard.
