Atrian

Erik the Navigator in his book - “From West to East and Back Again’Atrian is the culture from the valley of Atria, currently under the control of the Triumvirate of Atria, one of the oldest nations in the entirety of Elendor.
Naming Traditions
Feminine names
The more femmine of the Dragon and Dragonkin use names often ending in a softer S sound. But that is only true in a simple majority, as they have started moving toward more varied names in the recent century.
Examples include:
Xanus, Peritus, Kitar, Uilita, Novitalia.
Masculine names
A lot of the masculine Dragon and Dragonkin tend toward names that often have a sharp or harsh end, mostly D sounds. But this like the Feminine, is becoming a simple majority.
Examples include:
Dathar, Xuthus, Quos, Lithid.
Unisex names
Very few Dragonkin names are Unisex as their culture was rooted in a singular way of thinking, in the passing century however, some names that are considered unisex have began to surface across the Triumvirate.
Examples Include:
Ortho, Artio, Wular.
Family names
The family names of Atria stretch across several frames. They follow a very strict, yet simplistic method of creating family names. They often take the first syllable of the last name of one partner and the second syllable of the other partner and combine them. Or one partner may take the name of the other in full. Both methods have been noted at every level of the Atrian society.

Vestius, Quiliacus, Caetius, Atri, and Zouri
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
All Dragonkin know the tongue of their people, Dragonic along with a broad dialect of Commons due to the intake and outtake of trade in several of there cities. Several cities on the coast know Dwarven, as they often have visitors from the neighbouring Durradin kingdom, while those on the boarder with Bumundum often speak Elvish, Gnomish or Halfling. Some even learn Sylvin.
Shared customary codes and values
The Dragonkin all share a code of honour.
"No Dragon shall Fight, Forage or Fly alone, for as long as the Dragons live they shall never abandon another."
This code holds true among all Dragonkin. As such, most Dragons tend toward a lawful nature. The Law will often allow for the correction of events that otherwise would have been swept away by chaos.
Common Etiquette rules
Dragonkin often great each other with a hand shake passed down from the Bahamutian knights. A grip on the wrist and elbow shared between two dragonkin of any creed shows shared respect and understanding.
Many Dragonkin share a forward facing nature. It is rare to find a Dragon or Dragonkin who holds a underhanded demeanor.
Common Dress code
Dragonkin often wear form fitting yet flowy dress' and robes. But with a new age beginning the spread of pants and tunics has spread among the common folk and the craftspeople.
While some Dragonkin wear boots or shoes, most do not need to as the hard soles of there feat make them purely cosmetic.
Art & Architecture
Dragonic art has a surrealistic tone, much of it depicts great deads, beautiful mountins and soldiers of the Faith in unbelieveable and fantastical scenarios. The art community of Atria is vast and often commissioned by the Kai-Tengin Empire and Durradin.
While, in start contrast the architecture of Atria is very efficant in its nature, very few buildings have purely ascetic exterior to them as a lot of the buildings are constructed with pure necessity in mind.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Many dragonkin recieve a gift at birth from the Head of there family, be it a gift of goods, money or service in the future. The reason that this is granted to the family is to aid them in the hope that the child would grow to become a shining example of the people of Atria and the faith of Bahamut to the rest of the world.
Funerary and Memorial customs
When Dragonkin die, many of there bodies are burned on Pyres with a selection of items to represent their lives. A farmer might be burned with a sickle or a small bundle of wheat. Many of them leave gifts for there family so that in death, some joy may be spread as the soul of a Dragonkin joins Bahamut on mount Celeste.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Beauty, in a lot of Dragons, is a sheen in there scales, a long strong tail and sharp clear eyes. Dragonkin with horns are considered slightly more beautiful than that without or with small horns.
Gender Ideals
With all Dragonkin being strong, willful and passionate, its practically impossible to give them ideals baised on their gender.
Courtship Ideals
Dragonkin are prideful creatures by nature, flattery, gifts and while they would never tell you this to your face, some classical straight out of a bad romance novel cliche work on a lot of Dragonkin. Their ideals is love, with one, or as many as consent, other individual. If you ever do find a Dragonkin falling for you, expect obvious hints and a protective deminor.
Relationship Ideals
Dragonkin are fair in there dealings, and would prefer all those they enter relationships with be that of any nature return that in kind. They believe trust betweeen two parties is the only true way to progress any relationship beyond that of just a passing acquaintance.
