Demographics

While it is unknown just how many of each race exist in this massive city, it is known that the majority is a Dragon or Dragonkin of some nature. Then, from there the Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes and Halflings make up a chunk of the remaining poplulation. With Orcs and Goblins making up the minority.

Government

While the Triumvirate makes the over arching decisions and votes on all major changes made to the laws of Atria, they cannot be everywhere at once. In order to keep structure the citys and towns have a council that much like the Triumvirate themselves are voted into power. These councils usually consist of five members.   This structure allows for diplomatic deligation of the issues that can arrise from the size of the city.

Defences

The city sits on a plateau believed to be near the peak of The Tegora Mountin. With only one road in, and one out with several small encampments of troops along both roads. Even then, the walls are made of a volanic rock. With magically enchanted steel gates to ensure that any besigers would be facing a near impossible challange.

Industry & Trade

The city is a bustling trade hub, with several tens of merchant companys having a broker house in the central trade hub. This area is also home to local traders and craftsmen. The weapons and tools of this city are seen far and wide held by high ranking mercenaries and some minor nobles alike.   The expansive industrial area leaves little wanting. Fletchers, Tanners, Cobblers and Smiths litter the area. While specialty craftsmen toil over there silver, gold and jewels.

Infrastructure

The city provides an excellent trade and travel hub between the Grand Duchy of Bumundum and the Kai-Tengin Empire. With the aminities expected of a massive hub. Sewers, public or private bathhouses. The entire town is littered with everything you could need.   A bustling industrial sector fed by the flowing rivers of steaming water and a thriving selection of forgemasters helping to keep the demand for goods flowing.

Assets

The city holds several hordes of valuable items, all kept in a neigh impenetrable vault at the heart of the mountin. These vaults also store the ever rotating mass of food to keep the city fed in cast of a siege.   The cities industry is fed by the fast flowing river exiting the mountin. Its power grinds wheat, turns the gates and allows for the bathouses to be kept with fresh water from the mountin itself.   The city itself has a large spending budget along with some of the best equipped and trained soldiers in the contenant.   One of the largest draws to travelers and pilgrims alike is the Triumvirates Seat and The Swords Of The Founding Members

Guilds and Factions

Tergora has a guild house of every major Guild in Solorum.
  • An Adventuring guildhouse has members old and new flowing in and out of the building in search of adventure, glory and good coin.
  • The Artisans Guild holds a collection of the best Craftsfolk the city produces.
  • A Masons Guild allows the builders of the city to be hired directly by the local representatives.
  • The Entertainers Guild holds all sorts of colourful, tallented folk.
  • The Merchants Guild influences the trade of the cities goods and sets quotas coming and going to ensure fair trade.

History

The city was formed in PS 23, after the Triumvirate decided it was time to begin building a country, not just a wandering army of the Faithful. The Apicem Tergora Inpenetrabiles mountin had always intrigued the Dragons, as their naturall affinity for the peaks of the twin mountin ranges drew them toward the largest one.   After some debate, the first of its kind in the Triumvirates history, the kingdom was formed from the plateau on The Mountain with no end, the city taking the name given to it by one of the remaining knights of Bahamut, Tergora.

Architecture

The citys design is that of newer design in its totality. With houses that all share a similar edged design, but smooth roofs that allow for the rain to flow quickly down the mountin as to not let build up occur. The larger buildings are made of a dark volanic rock mined and cut from the mountin itself. The Temple of Bahamut being the only exception where Marble was imported from the northern part of the kingdom.   Bahamutian styled buildings have a contrasting edged into smooth corners design. While a lot of houses are simple boxed shapes, the more important buildings are grandios in there scope, design and scale.

Geography

The City of Tergora is situated on a plateau high up the tallest mountin in Solorum. The mountin is made of a dark volanic rock, which was cut to form the city walls and some of the more important buildings. The views are breath taking as you can see almost to the Grand Duchy of Bumundum to the east. The river flowing from the mountin provides the enhabitants fresh water.

Natural Resources

The people of Tergora never lack for Stone, Metals and Rock to forge into items of value. A large mine of Iron, Stone and some other minerals is located just down the mountin from the main gates of Tergora.   They also have access to wheat grown in caves, mushrooms and other edible fungai that suppliments the large farms in the cities south district.
