"The Shields of Truth were a immovable object in the face of the enemy. I watched them face down two entire raider groups on horseback and barely move an inch. They are the backbone that many militaries wish they had. The raiders tried as best they could to wittle them down with several volleys of arrows, axes and a full frontal charge with their best Cavalry. I can only try and make it know how the Shields are one of the only things that I firmly believe could hold a line, no matter the line or the place they were told to hold."A large order, mostly containing fighters who practice the art of working in large squads, the cohesion and teamwork this orders members have often allows them to fight and flow as one. Many members of this order prefer using Reach weapons, such as Halbards, Glaves and Billhooks. They each carry a large square tower shield, along with a reach weapon. Structure
The organization of the orders are all similar in that all of them follow a simple progression path.
You begin as a squire to that of a full fledged knight. You are their aid, as they are your mentor. You learn from them. They in turn must allow you to teach them new things from your perspective. After a Squire has earned the right to be knighted, the Grandmaster of the order will grant them the honour and bestow upon them a Honorific. Being that of a Ser, sometimes those honorifics can be dependant on the order or the method in which they earned their knighthood.

The Shields of Truth work to defend the boarders of Atria to the south with the Khanate. They patrol the south western boarder with Bunumdum in order to ensure that their are no dangerous wild animals making their way into Atrian territory.

Coming from the original foundation and a hero of the Atrian people Grandmaster Titus Cornelius Remigius the Shields of Truth are often held in high regard by all Atrian people, even the Triumvirate themselves sometimes relay on the Grandmaster of the knights for some advice or guidence.

History
Having been formed by Grandmaster Titus Cornelius Remigius during the inital rebellions, it is widely believed that this order of knights is the first real section of the Atrian military to be formed.
It is as old as the country itself, if not even a little older. Having many heroic knights in its long and storied history. Many childern of Atria pretend to be a member of The Shields of Truth.
