Castra Vetera
Vastra Vetera has been at the frontline of the fighting between the Khanate and The Triumvirate ever since the Khans decided that they wanted more of the land nearby. The Cross Guardians,The Shields of Truth and The Legion of the Justice Maker all make there homes here. This is where the recruits are trained and housed until they earn there full knighthood, after which they are often seperated into one of the orders and given a position.
The night had been a long one, burning arrows and some fizzling craters of magical make scatter the fields in front of Salvia Pictor, Equitia Centumala and Caelus Minicius Vettonianus They had been fighting since the sun first dipped below the horizion and now all of them stand in a field that is covered in bodies. Orkish, Dragonic and others that have fought and died. The three looked to each other for a moment, then Salvia stepped forward. "Tend to the wounded, save those you can. Ease the pain of those we cant. Gather up the Orkish bodies, they'll want to be brought back to the Khan." The other two nodded, while they fight they should do so with honour. Demographics
Mostly containing Dragonborn, Half Dragons and Kobolds, this fortress city has a large gathering of military trained, equipped and ready individuals who are ready to spring into action at a moments notice
Government
While there is the regular govermental system of that of any city in the Triumvirate, the Grandmaster of The Holy Orders all have excutive powers when the city is under attack.
Defences
The city walls, along with the River Ceorta running through the plans to the south provide an excellent natural defense for the city. With a raising bridge built by hired dwarven engineers several years ago and a complex of outposts and guard towers along the river to provide warning to the Fortress in case of attack.
Infrastructure
With a large open training ground for the many Holy orders to train, practice and learn, a large food store, fresh water stores the Fortress of Castra Vetera has some of the best training and preparedness in the known world.

ith Several knightly orders, blacksmiths, Bowers and Farriers the need of the many knights and there mounts is met with great pride from the people who provide such weapons, goods and services.
The Shields of Truth
A large order, mostly containing fighters who practice the art of working in large squads, the cohesion and teamwork this orders members have often allows them to fight and flow as one. Many members of this order prefer using Reach weapons, such as Halbards, Glaves and Billhooks. They each carry a large square tower shield, along with a reach weapon. These squads are often placed at the center of a front line, where they often hold back waves of attackers with ease. T he Cross Guardians are a order of archers, Crossbowmen and throwing specialists who work in a majority support role with The Shields of Truth. Many of there members are crack shots and often work in smaller more maneuverable squads to aid the much larger and slower moving heavily armed and armoured front line troops. Riding the large and deadly Iroran Vala, The Legion is the Elite mounted cavalry of the Triumvirate. Each Iroran has a single rider for their lives. Each rider, much like Grandmaster Titus Cornelius Remigius before them, weilds a charging Lance as their primary weapon, while all of them are skilled fighters while off there Irorans, they are most effictive when charging down enemy foot soliders and taking on other cavalry units. The town was formed as a boarder town with the then wasteland to the south as a scouting outpost, but not long after this the Khanate began making incursions.
