Life
Overview
This entry is about Life as a Primordial, before their and their twin Death, became Gods. Life is the primordial force of life, healing and growth. They are the second youngest offspring of Void, only older than their sister Death. They are the parent of Trix by Chaos, Snagga by Fire, Lassara and Chronia by Death, Amoria by Harmony, Elunara and Meloria by Light and Harmilda by Nature.
Description
Life is not known to have a physical form as a Primordial. When depicted in art or stories, they are depicted as a firefly or glowing butterfly. As a primordial most mythologies give them neutral pronouns and only see them as masculine once they became a God.
History
Life is the second youngest offspring of Void, older twin of Death. Before their birth there was no true, thinking life or passing of life in death. In some mythologies they and Death were enemies from the moment they existed, in others they are shown to be closer than any other living thing as their entire purpose, their entire force, is dependent upon the other one. They always share a close connection, even if its nature differs from mythology to mythology.
Relevance
Like all Primordials, Life is not actively involved in mortal affairs, nor are they revered or prayed to as a Primordial. However they are one of the two Primordials who became Gods and they are revered as the God of Life by all cultures and mythologies. They and Death are the oldest Gods and involve themselves often with mortal beings.
Relationships
Fear does not stop death, it stops life.
