Introduction:

Drift demons are one of two types of creatures classified as fiends (along with Void Fiends) that can be encountered by the inhabitants of the Founder Galaxy. They are the one of the few inhabitants of The Drift and embody the aspects of morality of neutrality and evil. While most drift demons stay in the drift, some leave the plane to either tempt people to their side or to carry out their evil plans.

Origin:

The majority of drift demons spawn from neutrality and evil itself. The rest are descendants from people belonging to an ancient age. While some scholars believe drift demons are descendants of the halborg like void fiends, others argue that they are descendants of not just the halborg, but also Illithid and Dilug. Whatever their true origin is, it is lost to time.

Society:

While the seven rulers cooperate to further the goals of their kind, they are constantly feuding with each other to gain an advantage. Drift demons united under one ruler attempt to cheat and fight their way to the top, often to the detriment of their kin.
