Ghynzuan

Summer Camp 2021 article - Under Construction

Since its founding in 258 AP Ghynzua has grown into an Empire spanning from the southern most tip of East Eghea, all the way up to the border with The Northern Clans. Ghynzua is the largest nation in the world today. Throughout history people of various cultures and ethnicities were taken in by the ever expanding Empire. The Ghynzuans of today reflect this multicultural background they came from. This does not mean they do not have a sense of commonality. Each subculture has their own unique place and identity in the Empire. Yet they all belong to a larger identity. The identity of being a Ghynzuan. Which for many is a source of great pride.

Cultural Exports

Ghynzuan Silk

By far, one of the most wanted export products from Ghynzua is their Ghynzuan Silk. It is seen as the highest quality silk worldwide. Due to its costly price tag it has become a symbol of status and wealth outside of Ghynzua. The amount of silk that is being exported is also limited because of the production process of the silk. This also explains why the price of exported ghynzuan silk is so much higher than what it costs in Ghynzua itself.

Ghynzuan Honey Wine

Another major export product for Ghynzua is their world famous honey wine. Different types of honey wine are produced in various regions of the Empire. All of them are exported to other parts of the world.

Coral Dye

On the east coast of Ghynzua is a region where a coral dye is made. This specific color is only made in that region due to a specific ingredient needed to produce the dye. It is used mostly to dye fabric. It is such a unique color that it has become an highly sought after product, not only in Ghynzua, but also in other parts of the world.

Interesting article. If you are planning to expand it, I would like to read about other aspects of the culture

Thank you. I do plan to expand it. There is a ton to write about for this ethnicity. It's just not something that I'll be doing during Summer Camp. I'll be happy if I can make the time to write 300 words for all 31 Prompts.

An interesting article! I really like the coral dye, it sounds quite pretty. I would love to see the shade of color it is, if you were to put an image on the article at some point! Great job. :D

Ooh, coral dye sounds cool - is it referring to coral the colour, or coral the animal?

Thank you. It is referring to the color. :)
