Fox Cure

Summer Camp 2021 Article - Under Construction

Fox cure is a medicine developed by the Ippah Medical Foundation & University to cure Fox Paralysis. After an outbreak in Ippah Hospital, which severely reduced their population of emotional support Fawnihs, researchers have been working non stop for years to find a cure that can be made fast and in large quantities.

Discovery

Research into fox paralysis and its cause has been conducted for decades. Not only in Ippah, but in various other places worldwide as well. In Ghynzua Hira Osu has been used with great results. But the amount of hira osu that is being produced and exported is too small to make cures for the entire world. So the researchers at IMFU had to find a different active ingredient for their cure, with the same capacity to cure viral infections as hira osu. This ingredient was eventually discovered to be the oil extracted from a flowering plant called fray bell. Together with a number of other ingredients this turned into a medicine called fox cure.

Description

For a medicine to be distributed worldwide it must be something that can be easily stored and takes long to expire. Therefor fox cure was developed as an oil that can be kept at room temperature. It is distributed in small opaque flasks with an eyedropper. The amount of drops needed depend on the size of the animal, and will be prescriped by an apothecary.

Distribution

Fox cure is a newly developed cure. Worldwide distribution has only just started, so many apothecaries do not yet offer the cure. However steps are being taken to ensure a fast worldwide distribution.

Fray Bell

A flowering plant native to the grass plains of Ippah. It is a fast growing plant which also can be found in abundance. It is easy to cultivate since it requires very little water or nutrients. Because it grows and spreads so fast it is viewed by most people as an unwelcome addition to their garden. For the staff of IMFU however it made this plant especially useful to create large quantities of fox cure to distribute to apothecaries worldwide.

Poor little foxes! I hope this cure gets worldwide as soon as possible. That makes me sad to think of the little foxes being paralyzed! D:

Fingers crossed they can distribute it quickly. Sounds like a horrible disease.
