Âdocôris - Land of meadows

Âdocôris is located in the south of Brictaelgis and, at 4,595 km², is the largest land in Brictaelgis in terms of area. The rivers Swûndrud in the north, Thointris in the east and Îrwuntra in the west, together with the mountains of the Drûddâci - Greenlings and the Îrwadri and the southern sea Mîrani, form the natural boundaries.

Âdocôris borders Wâdrivi to the west, Taen Wôtris to the north and Râx Evari to the east. Since the 1st millennium AEC, Âdocôris has been considered the leading nation of the remaining Brictalegian lands. The inhabitants are called Âdocôrica or Meadow goblins, who speak Adoic Draelgit.

History

Age of Myths and Shadows
8. to. 6th millennium BEC

After the fall of the Âtogôtaigs of Prigg-Thâgi, the remaining families move to the south of Brictaelgis and founded Âtogôrsa as a reminder of the first goblin civilization. Agriculture and livestock farming thrived in the meadows. The first clans were founded, which consulted on regular matters. This time also saw the first experiences in dealing with the magic of the earth element, the further development of the belief in the Brictaelgian pantheon and the emergence of important traditions that connected all goblins with each other.

Agriculture and livestock breeding led to an increase in the population, so that in the middle of the 7th millennium BEC some clans moved to the west and east of the country to find new pastures and farmland. At the turn of the 6th millennium BEC, additional clans migrate north and west, crossing the Swûndrud and Îrwuntra rivers.
Age of Enlightenment
6th to 3rd millennium BEC

At the beginning of the 5th millennium BEC, the Circle of Druids was founded, which made many earth magic discoveries during this time and tried to explain all questions about this elemental magic. Later, the shaman guild emerged from part of the circle, which from then on only cared about the healing aspects of nature.   The first large cities and important places of earth magic emerged. However, the first acts of war also broke out between individual clans in the western, southern and eastern meadows. In addition, the goblins of the western and eastern meadows often had to fend off attacks by the night goblins from the west and the forest goblins in the north. In 3,798 BEC the first major battle of Cîleth took place, in which the meadow goblins formed a joint army in order to be able to fend off the attackers. In the years that followed, there were repeated major battles with the countries of Wadriw in the west and Dan Wudir in the north.

Age of the Ancestors
3rd millennium BEC to 1 BEC

In the middle of the 3rd millennium BEC, the first small dominions were established, which vehemently defended their borders against other clans. Marriage policy developed between the clans as an important means of expanding their territory. If this does not work, smaller clans will be partially overrun and assimilated, with the spread of mirror gates on Brictaelgis also becoming an important support for transport.   With the great flood - triggered by the Homo Elaqitanii around 2,750 BEC - the entire world of Elaqitan came to a standstill and the goblins were busy rebuilding for the next 500 years. Clan leaders were born who not only have the well-being of their own clan in mind and strive for power, wealth and fame. At 1,500 BEC the first major Brictaelgian war between all the goblins occured, followed by two more at 1,366 BEC and 985 BEC. The final war of the Brictaelgica ended with the Treaty of Laentas, made Tirwogs a Gôimee (now Tirvox ad Coimi) the most important city of Âtogôris. The winners of the wars were the Âdocôrica, who became a nation under Tâmid, the Great from the Malvas clan and the Blum tribe.

After the rise of the Homo Elaqitanii of Idaka around 500 BEC and the successful battles against the Idaci, which culminated in the Battle of Aqitalú around 2 BEC and almost the destruction of the Aqi Talúsix - Tree of Elements resulted in , Rilba, the wise and Brill, the clever one from the Velvet Cap clan and the Mushroom Guardian tribe, were accepted into the first council of the Elaqitanians as members of the ruling clan.

Age of great councils
1 AEC to 2,699 AEC (current)

Over the course of the first 500 years of AEC, three noble houses arised - the Principality of the Mushroomy Western Meadows, the Grand Duchy of the Flowery Southern Meadows and the Duchy of the Lush Eastern Meadows, all of which were united in 919 AEC under Vinduk I as the first great king. Over the next 200 years, the kingship changed between the three noble houses, but when the war against Taen Wôtris broke out around 1,100 AEC and Âdocôris emerged as the winner, Âdocôris was also recognized as the supreme "fiefdom" by the remaining goblin tribes in the west and north of Brictaelgis.

Foreign policy

Âdocôris is the only brictalegian country that represents the interests of the goblins even from outside the continent. In addition, they maintain active trade and connections with the Island of the Elements and the other three continents Layida, Téshàn and Uluriqii. There are small embassies from the three continents in the capitals of the three dominions.

As a "liege lord" there are friendly and family relationships with the leading clans of the other Brictaelgian countries.

Domestic politics

Although it is an elective monarchy leading a clan, the election of the great king has only had a symbolic character for around 500 years. Currently, the Orchis clan from the Blum tribe under Tillard II and the Honeymorels clan from the Mushroom Guardian tribe under Fenella I currently lead the Âdocôrica.

Population

About 163,746 inhabitants live on an area of 4,595 km², which consists of 68% meadow goblins, 19% from ethnic groups of the other Brictaelgian goblins, 3% from giants, 2% from trolls and 8% from other Elaqitanians.   The largest cities are Tirvox ad Coimi, Cîleth, Êlthum and the cities of Vindux and Aslae, as the two largest sanctuaries in the country are located here.

Infrastructure

Since Âdocôris is the largest and most important country in Brictaelgis, the roads between the cities and to the large border rivers are the best developed. The largest ports are in Lînsh and Tinthal on the Sun Sea in the south and in Waeldrù, Ggmeldis and Brîctal on the three major rivers.

Business

The economy is based primarily on agriculture and livestock farming. In addition, there are many small factories that are responsible for the production of clothing, everyday goods and, above all, earth magic tools. The country has founded numerous mines in the Greenlings and Blue Mountains, extracting mineral resources such as the metal Âdaxas and the gemstone Drûxas as well as green salt.

Payment is made with Aelgis and Aeleth, small coin-like bowls of different sizes with a hole in the middle made of an Adaxas alloy. Aeleth are about half the size of Aelgis. 50 Aeleth equals one Aelgis. The coin bowls are made at the Bridd and Mùrn mints.

The gross domestic product is around 650 Aelgis per year per capita. The annual mushroom harvest and the sale of the products from it account for the largest share at 45%. The remaining percent is divided into 20% mineral resources, 18% food and 17% clothing and goods.

The Mushroomy Western Meadows is a very cute name. I got a sense of each meadow's differences just by the names. A great way to flavor the article.

One of my favorite country descriptions - it doesn't feel overwhelming and makes me want to explore more.

Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
