Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Like the nóal rockfish, ennek char are a common catch for Mörkel fishermen living by Fekai Lake. The scales are sometimes used to adorn jewelry as a substitute for gold, particularly in Úlb and Kóvúrt, and during the early days of Eila'togía -the prototypical Mörkel kingdom- they were often incorporated into leather armour to evoke the bronze lamellar armour worn by the ancient Móerkels, sometimes in battle but more often for ceremonies.
Similarly, commoners in rural Aralrar traditionally make clay figurines of the war goddess Datena Öþekí that are clad in armour made from ennek scales to protect the home while working outside.
