Castle Ash

In a previous life Castle Ash was a center of commerce and trade for Miridians in the southeastern kingdoms. But that was before the ascension of the Dragon Empires and fall to what is now called the Boneyard. After its abandonment the castle stood empty for half an age before its current occupants took up residence.
The Church of Conflagration, high in the contested parts of the Mourningold Mountains, sought to expand its holdings and grow its more militant tendencies. So it was that under the leadership of the enigmatic Scarleria, the Cindered Shade, was formed a new mercenary band: the Knights of Conflagration. While the Knights are adherents of Inferno, they answer directly to their mistress. She has grown their reputation as some of the best and more dependable fighters in Miridia. Now her dominion grows futher with the resettlement of the trade town at the mouth of the Bubbling Bight, renamed the Smokey Warf. Castle Ash is quickly becoming the center of a burgeoning kingdom of its own.
