Knight of Cleansing Flame (a.k.a. Moltenaxe)
It's a rare sight to see a thal not in the service of Nixalia the Barbarous, but everyone involved was willing to make an exception for Jotun. A pyromaniac from a young age, Jotun is a stout warrior and made an excellent raider, except that he had a tendency to burn everything and everyone he captured. He claims he cannot help it, when he feels the fire in his blood he just loses control. Needless to say this became an issue aboard very flammable ships in the middle of a freezing sea, and Jotun was cast out of his raiding party and left on the shores of Miridia.
Mistrusted by most miridians, Jotun worked as a hired thug or stole to stay fed until he heard tell of a crazed cult of Inferno at the edge of the world. Thinking he had found his people he wandered his way across the continent until he found himself at Castle Ash. They took him in, as they do all pilgrims seeking Inferno's warm embrace, but soon found he was too volatile for most of their contracts. A certain degree of collateral damage can be expected when pyromancers are on the scene, but Jotun's tendency to burn everyone and sort out friend from foe later was problematic when it came time to collect payment. So now he is kept at Castle Ash and only dispatched for missions which call for a blunt instrument.
