Sven’s arrival at Castle Ash was a major boon for the Knights of Cleansing Flame. Their smithees were perfectly serviceable, but could not hold a candle to a true dwarven master blacksmith. While he cannot bring himself to share the dwarven trade secrets with outsiders, he is more than happy to apply his craft to arm his new brothers to the teeth. Having an artisan with knowledge of smelting truesilver and crafting nightsteel meant a whole not level of arms and armor for mercenaries, which in turn meant a significant rise in their prices and so more revenue. Depending on the Church’s ability to source the materials and Sven’s ability to maintain production, they may even begin to start selling his works. A revenue source wherein none of the members' lives are put on the line would be a novel concept for the followers of Inferno. It is strange to think how one skilled dwarf could become the catalyst that forms a new city state, but long term planning and doomsday cults also do not typically have much intersection so who is to say what will happen?
