Fierforge
Dug into the side of the great volcano, Mount Anderion, is the dwarven city of Fierforge. Even efore the Dragon Lord's reemergence the city boasted a decent population and was quite productive in its production of precious metals and especially darkiron. The Red Dragon Curse lived there in secret for much of the Mortal Age under the guise of a warrior called the Burning Crusader. But the colony was abandoned in the wake of Mount Anderion's erruption when its namesake burst forth from from the earth with fire and smoke.
Eventually Anderion convinced four of the dwarf clans to betray their kinsmen and pledge fealty to him. It was in Fierforge that he poured his malice and cruelty into them, turning them into the dvergen seen today. Most of these dvergen still live in Fierforge, led by the fierce Tyr of the Orebardin Clan. Tyr rules the city as thane and Anderion's second in command. A recent addition to the city's ranks has been the pyromancer, Ciara Portwright, who Anderion dotes on with particular interest, even dubbing her the "Princess of Ashes." Tyr and Ciara's paths cross frequently, especially when both are asked to give their master council about matters of state or war. They both obviously wish to rule in Anderion's name, but cannot do so at the same time, creating somewhat of a rivalry and division in the city. Thus far the issue has not come to blows, but it does seem inevitable at some point.
