Inverted Powers

Causes

When Darrow usurps the Core's power, the wave of changes he made affects several members of Arbolisk, including modifying their appearance and existing powers.

Symptoms

Rock: Originally blue, the Inversion turns Rock green, and his right eye becomes hollow with a red glow inside. From this eye he can fire lasers and bend them into grids. Unlike everyone else, Rock’s pre-Inversion powers and appearance never return.
Heatwizard: Heat’s iconic flaming hair and powers are converted into electricity, and he adds a pair of yellow sunglasses to his outfit.
Vulcan Blitz: Briefly using the pseudonym Vaniah Barra, Vulcan loses his armor. He gains a random assortment of powers including running faster when afraid, pouring salt on his wounds to heal, exploding dead things, and changing the color of liquids.
Deadeyee: Dead is turned dark cerulean by the event. He also loses his PSoD, instead gaining the ability to summon and control grass.
Nitro: Somehow, Nitro’s appearance never changes. However, he loses his innate wind powers, and instead attains galaxy-brain level intellect.
Stardust Phoenix: Star’s hair becomes spiky white, and his normal garb transforms into high-tech purple armor and black gloves. His fire abilities are replaced with ice ones.
Dusk Raizen: Dusk’s usual outfit converts to black, with a pair of worn red boots on his feet. In addition, his sunlight powers invert to moonlight powers.
Pigtar: Pigtar’s normal attire are changed into a black leather jacket, sunglasses, and a fedora. Instead of losing his ability, his natural strength and ability to burst into flames on command become even more powerful
Magik: The Inversion changes Magik’s body entirely, making him into an opaque sheet-ghost spirit with a large conical witch’s hat and giving him the ability to shapeshift. Rumors float around for a while that this change was permanent, as he only appears as a teddy bear after the world returned to normal.
Midnight Shadow: Middy’s usual clothes are replaced with a red dress adorned with green bows, and her hair becomes one large puff. She lost access to her magic, but becomes able to store and recall objects from inside a space in her hair.
Shadowbolt: Though seen only briefly, his right eye and arm become pitch black, while his left become pure white.

Treatment

When Darrow is defeated and the Pentaguard Plan is enacted the world returned to its normal state, and the Jumper’s powers and appearances revert to normal.
