Heatwizard
Dennis McDonald (a.k.a. Heatwizard)
Heatwizard, also known as Heat, was a Jumper known for his hot head and his pyromancy skills. He often could be found on the front line of any conflict the Jumpers found themselves in. He was killed during the raid on the Kurogane Symphonia by Axiom.
Physical Description
Special abilities
Pyrokinesis- Heat is one of, if not the strongest pyrokinetic(s) known. He can out-fire any fire user, although this does not necessarily guarantee a combat victory.
Sixth Sense- Pyrokinetics have heat vision as a sixth sense; they can sense heat sources around them.
Temperature- Heat can manipulate temperatures. He can maintain more comfortable temperatures around himself in the cold, and melt snow and ice.
Transport- Heat's airship is capable of mass transport, airtight and rated for space and undersea travel. Its max occupancy is 300 passengers, although they may not all fit.
Heat also had a variety of specific abilities he could use in combat, including:
Flamethrower- A basic jet of flame, a staple of any pyrokinetic's repetoire. It does very little damage, but its use incurs a lot of shock value and can be used to manipulate the survival tactic of 'oh god it's fire don't let it burn me'. However, unless immune or heavily defended against flames, exposure is certainly something you want to avoid.
Flare- A small fireball that, when launched, explodes concussively upon contact with anything. This attack is also widely popular with fighting pyrokinetics for its low energy consumption and more direct combat usage, as well as its capability for structural damage. It can be made bigger and nastier with focus.
Firewall- With manipulation, one can turn a trail of fire on the ground into a high wall of searing flames. Its heat and intensity can be adjusted to the controller's whims. It puts a drain on the user's energy, and requires a good deal of focus to maintain, and only typically finds use with more tactical, experienced fighters.
Furnace- One of the more odd-ballier powers pyrokinetics have, they can manipulate temperatures around themselves. It's common practice to heat the air around a battle to uncomfortable levels to make an opponent's job that much harder. Small adjustments in close quarters are easy on one's energy. However, it's typically only used by more experienced fighters who have made a habit out of it, as it can be difficult to focus otherwise.
Blazing Bolt- The ability to pull 'energy' out of fire is an ability unique to Heat, who often makes an attack out of it. He fires it in a single direction, like a laser, with a surprising amount of power that has only a small drain on his internal energy. It does, however, require a moment to gather the energies.
In addition, Heat was trained in two different fighting styles:
Legendary Strike- An eastern style that only incorporates kicks, Heat uses a modified version in conjunction with his lightsaber in order to attack faster and less predictably.
Manos del Diablo- A Mexican unarmed fighting style that requires the user's hands to be on fire. It uses slow, more powerful attacks, using the flames to deter blocking while adding that much more damage to one's attacks.

Apparel & Accessories
Heat usually wore a bright yellow t-shirt over some blue jeans.
Specialized Equipment
Laser sword- Heat's favorite and signature weapon, an orange laser sword. It has the capability to fire its blade in a wave, although at the expense of burning out the battery. It has recently been fitted with a stun mode, which turns the blade yellow and replaces the contained plasma blade with an electricity one to achieve a similar but less lethal effect. Upon striking with a stun blade, some of the electricity is discharged into the opponent, like a taser. This mode can have its intensity adjusted for targets of differing constitutions.
Nebula- A rapier forged with Fire Flowers, a plant known for it's ability to grant or increase fire powers for a time. As a result, the blade can confer a similar effect. Heat does not often use it, due to how explosive and difficult to control his powers become while wielding Nebula, but keeps it anyway, just in case.

Mental characteristics
Intellectual Characteristics
Heat is surprisingly resistant to mind-based powers. His friends joke that it's because he's too stubborn to fall for things.
