Ancla Swamp
I'll bet all those folktales originate from Telancla students playing stupid pranks...
For most citizens, the Ancla Swamp is a hazardous cesspool of muck and slithering creatures no sane person would enter. To alchemists, it's a veritable gold mine of reagents. Sensancel residents say the strange shapes and shadows visitors see are the ghosts of the dead, but that's just a folktale.
